Adrienne Yager
Team builder, software engineer, and resident data witch
I lead with one foot in the code and one foot with the people who write it. Most of my career I’ve been chasing one question: how do small, thoughtful teams deliver work that outpaces their size? Usually the answer is good data tooling and the processes around it, so that’s what I build.
These days I’m at HubSpot, running a crew of data engineers and analytics engineers building a demand intelligence platform that feeds the outbound sales machine. This work leans on the usual data engineering toolkit and on some custom LLM harnesses we’ve been growing for next-generation enrichment and signal processing.
Here’s what the last few years have looked like:
HubSpot
Engineering Lead, Demand Intelligence
June 2026 - Present
Demand Intelligence is how HubSpot figures out who’s actually ready to buy, and gets the right signals to the reps who can close the conversation. I’m building the systems that read those signals and keep tuning our internal CRM data so the sales process gets faster and less of a slog for the people on both ends of it.
Analytics Engineering Manager, Enterprise Data Platform
May 2023 - June 2026
Led a team of five engineers building HubSpot’s shared central data warehouse. Mostly that meant taming unruly architecture, helping people across the org agree on what their own words mean, and gathering a community of engineers to contribute their team’s data.
Analytics Engineering Manager at dbt Labs
April 2022 - January 2023
Worked with clients of every size to untangle their data architecture, orchestration, and overall practice. Contributed to early data mesh functionality in dbt Core and helped map out where analytics engineering was headed at scale.
Founding Engineer at Torch Leadership Labs
June 2019 - April 2022
Founding engineer at a B2B leadership coaching SaaS. Along the way I grew a small data and analytics team that powered Torch’s GTM analytics and the in-app coaching reporting — and learned a lot about what coaching can do for people along the way.
